In 2013, Chicago based developer Oxford Capital Group, LLC acquired the historic building and set into motion plans for a comprehensive redevelopment. The new design integrates a luxury 452 room hotel called LondonHouse with a modernist 22-story glass tower.
This project featured a 4-side SSG unitized curtain wall around the hotel tower, and included two OXXO automatic sliding doors and a stainless steel balanced door in the entryway to the hotel.
